As a pediatric practice, we already take measures to disinfect all common areas as well as our therapy rooms, toys, and activities. In light of the current situation, we have accelerated our cleaning efforts and increased our cleaning schedule of the common areas. We are closely monitoring the situation and are following guidelines set forth by the CDC, Virginia State, and Fairfax and Loudoun County officials.
Given that the majority of our clients are children from Fairfax and Loudoun County ranging from K-12, we rely heavily on the parents and guardians as the first line of care and awareness for potentially ill children. If your child is ill or has a compromised immune system and needs to stay home, please update your therapist. Most importantly, if your child (or you or siblings who attend the session or wait in the waiting room) has a respiratory illness or fever, you must stay home.
If you have further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Your safety and the continued treatment of your child are our priorities.
